The Director of Operations is a licensed professional individual that has twenty-four-hour responsibility and accountability for Austin Emergency Center. This position requires knowledge and skills of leadership in administration, principles of effective teaching and learning, human resources management, financial management, effective communication and interpersonal relationships. The Director of Operations maintains compliance with policies/procedures required by the State of Texas for free-standing emergency centers and the standards of professional nursing practice as defined by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
